Peter Green | CEO
Green leads Imara's growth strategy and investment initiatives to bring affordable high-power, high-energy lithium-ion batteries to multiple markets. With more than 30 years of experience in semiconductors, clean technology and commercialization, Green has the depth of experience necessary to successfully grow Imara in the alternative energy industry.

Prior to Imara, Green served as president and CEO of Advent Solar where he was responsible for establishing the company's growth strategy and commercializing its technology.

Before his work at Advent Solar, Green held various senior management roles during his 22 years at Intel Corporation, including general manager of the XScale Microcomputer architecture, and Handheld Computing divisions. While at Intel, he managed acquisitions and joint developments, and was recognized for his involvement in successful digital imaging and portable computing initiatives for the company.

Green has also held sales and marketing roles at Texas Instruments in Europe and Houston, TX. Green joined Texas Instruments from Plessey U.K., where he was responsible for the design and implementation of missile guidance systems for the Ministry of Defense at the Allen Clark Research Centre.

Green holds a Bachelor of Science degree in physics and a Master of Science degree in microwave and telecommunication theory from the University of Leeds in the U.K.
